Evening primrose is a very potent treatment for eczema. It has the power to heal lesion areas. It is available in oil form and can be applied to affected areas before bath and its massage should be done on daily basis.

Heartsease:

Another name of heartsease is viola tri-color. This plant is used to treat eczema in the form of tea. Its flower, leave and stem, all are effective. It should be drink 2 to 3 times daily to get well soon. Its ointment can also be very beneficial.

Slippery elm:

Slippery elm is very efficient treatment of eczema. It is used in the form of paste. It using method is to make paste of its leaves and then add water in it to apply it to affected regions. It is better to leave the paste so that it can produce it healing effects. When paste gets dry, washes it with water.

Oatmeal:

Oatmeal paste is another effective agent to treat eczema. This paste should be applied three to four times daily. Bandage can be applied to it also to keep the paste intact with the affected area.

Turmeric:

Turmeric is known for its medicinal properties for years. It has many beneficial effects. It is an effective treatment for eczema and can be applied or consumed.

Other than herbs

There are certain things that should also be done to avoid eczema:

  • Avoid dairy products if you are allergic to them. Avoid any material that you are allergic form.
  • Don’t use clothes of other eczema patients.
  • Drink plenty of water to clean blood from toxins.
  • Eat variant vegetables daily
  • Stay clean, hygiene is important because bacteria, fungi etc can be accumulate in affected area.
